And one last time to say goodbye to Elisabeth Sladen, who created the character of Sarah Jane Smith in Doctor Who in the 1970s, and became the link to the new series in 2006 , and then in 2007 became a heroine to a new generation with her series, The Sarah Jane Adventures.  It ran in the UK until just a few months ago.  She's pictured above with my two favorite Doctors, Tom Baker and David Tennant.  She was a special spirit within the Doctor Who universe, even when she was acting in theatre and other television shows, including the lead in a female version of Gulliver's Travels.  We will always have Sarah Jane and always remember her, but everyone involved in Doctor Who will miss Elisabeth Sladen.
