Speaking of evocative images, would you happen to know the name of the episode from the original series in which Captain Kirk shares a romantic encounter with a blue-skinned woman (or so I've heard)? I would like to locate a digital image memorializing this liaison.
I'm not an expert, but to my recollection this didn't happen. In the Trek universe, Andorians are blue-skinned, and Kirk didn't have an encounter with a female, at least not that I recall. There was a green-skinned Orion slave girl in the original series pilot, "The Cage," who tempted Captain Pike (Kirk's predecessor.) There are screencaps of her (played by Susan Oliver) at trekcore.com and one at Startrek.com.
