I found this blog by accident, but I'm glad that I did. To say that I miss new Star Trek episodes would be an understatement. I'm 23 and I've worked backwards from ENTERPRISE, to VOYAGER, DEEP SPACE NINE, NEXT GENERATION, and now the ORIINAL SERIES, which I have to say, has been a very pleasant surprise. I didn't care for ENTERPRISE all that much, although it was better than nothing, and I was probably one one of thee people who liked the last STAR TREK movie (NEMESIS) but I don't know if I'm looking froward to another pre original storyline. From what I've heard, the next movie will be about a young Kirk and Spock. Okay, that might prove interesting, but I'd really like to move forward again to see what happens NEXT. Can't we have a VOYAGER movie? A DEEP SPACE NINE movie? Another TNG movie?

Regarding the message in this particular post, I couldn't agree more. I'm a racially mixed indvidual--part Puerto Rican Part Irish, and I think that's part of the reason why I've developed suc a liking for Mister Spock. Moreover I've been using STAR TREK reruns as my safety valve for the last six years, escaping into a world where human beings have finally dealt with issues of racial hatred, economic inequality, and war as a first choice to every problem.

I may be back to visit here again.
