I have always been fascinated by the markings on Spock's coffin, which of course is the tube of a photon torpedo. As anyone can clearly see, one part of the markings is clearly readable: Mark VI, a clear reference to a long history of "Mark" models of torpedoes used by the Navy since the beginning of the submarine service. But does anyone know what the words underneath Mark VI are? I have never been able to read them clearly, nor have I seen a good HD version of this shot.
